Insurers rarely (if ever) lower their premiums. You’ll have seen premium increases every year and whilst Insurance Premium Tax has increased by 6% since November 2015 and June 2017, it is not always clear why private medical insurance premiums have increased so much.
Many companies like their insurer and don’t want to switch, but even if this is the case we find that it is worth challenging renewal premiums. There are some occasions when this won’t work and we’ll discuss what you should look out for.
Sometimes employees complain about their treatment when they make a claim. Often the complaints are the same ones and can be avoided if expectations are properly set at outset. We’ll discuss this.
You may have been asked to take responsibility for a scheme that has been in place for many years, or it may just have been a while since you thought about how your staff join your scheme. We will show you the options available.
If you are thinking about transferring your medical insurance to a new provider, we will show you what is involved.
We advise many companies on their private medical insurance arrangements and conduct market reviews on their behalf clients and assist with renewing their cover. We hold presentations to staff members in their workplaces to promote their schemes.
There will be time for questions or please feel free to contact us afterwards.
